A country where nature is still so pure.....
A country where you sometimes think you're back in the middle ages again.....
A country with a very interesting history and troubled times.....
A country still full of poverty.....
A country with beggars in the streets.....
A country where old people don't get a proper pension.....
A country where people are so hospitable.....
A country where people are human.....
A country that stole my heart from the very first minute.....
A country which is for ever in my soul.....
A country where I've found so much love and friendship.....
A country so close and yet so far away.....

For many years now I am a very welcome guest in this beautiful country in eastern Europe. And for even so many years I wanted to write about all my experiences in Romania, but I couldn't figure out how to do so. Just to write something down on a piece of paper......no, that wasn't enough, that would be like insulting Romania. Until I started this website......of course this was a great opportunity to write all my stories down, so that everybody who's interested can join me in my love for this country and my dear friends. Below you can read about how it all started, my holidays there and the story of my "Romanian parents"! For those who are taking the effort to read all this ........ ENJOY! |
